Académico e Investigador en la temática de tratamiento de residuos con procesos biológicos. Experiencia en Investigación y Desarrollo de proyectos científicos y tecnológicos en el tratamiento de aguas residuales y lodos residuales. Su investigación se ha desarrollado en modelación matemática de los procesos de nitrificación, desnitrificación y digestión anaeróbica en el tratamiento de aguas y la modelación matemática del proceso de biosecado de lodos residuales. Director del Magister en Medio Ambiente mención en Ingeniería de Tratamiento de Residuos y miembro del Grupo de Estudio de Ingeniería 3 de FONDECYT.
